Feature Spotlight: Custom Labels in Professional Edition

Version 10.12 comes packed with brandspankin’ new goodies for your email marketing pleasure. For this spotlight we’re highlighting custom campaign labels.

Start labeling your campaigns right away. This has been one of the major features that customers have been wanting and you can now take advantage of it!

Custom Campaign Labels

One includes the new custom labeling added to campaigns when deployed. Now you can organize your campaigns by category, type and phase. This adds a level of organization which can help you find your sends based on your strategy.

Category

  • Anniversary – Emails sent to celebrate milestones in the relationship with the brand
  • Birthday – Emails sent to a subscriber to wish them a birthday message
  • Reengagement – Emails sent to inactive subscribers to get them to reengage with the email channel
  • Survey – Email sent to customers to solicit feedback
  • Welcome Series – Emails sent to new subscribers to welcome, educate, and increase engagement
  • Winback – Emails sent to lapsed customers to get them to convert

Type

  • Lifecycle – Triggered message sent based on a subscribers phase in the email marketing lifecycle
  • Loyalty – Message sent to help increase the customer lifetime value
  • Newsletter – Informational message sent out on a regularly scheduled interval
  • Promotional – Message that advertises or promotes a product or service
  • Service – Message informing a subscriber about updates relating to their relationship with the brand
  • Transactional – Message that facilitates an already agreed-upon transaction or updates a customer about an ongoing transaction

 Phase

  • Convert – Marketing programs to help you convert leads into customers
  • Grow – Marketing programs to help you grow customer value and engagement
  • Retain – Marketing programs to help you ensure customer loyalty
  • Winback – Marketing programs to help you reengage subscribers and customers

Under Reports > Manage Email > (pick the label type) you will be brought to a screen where you will see a “Add Email *label type*”. The example below is for Custom Phase Label, but they work the same for each of the three types.

And coming soon, you will be able to filter reports in the dashboard based on the these filters, so you will want to start adding these labels now so you can benefit from these report views.
