When it comes to providing the best experience possible for your subscribers, preference sites are a big part of that. Subscribing, unsubscribing, or, you know, preference to what sort of messages your customers receive, it’s important that you provide all those avenues to chose from. We know, we know, putting all that together can be a pain.
But, well, it really doesn’t have to be — at least not through the WhatCounts platform. Here, let’s take a look:
So once you’ve logged into the platform, the quickest way to get to your preference site setup is to click on the “What Do You Want To Do Today” bar:
And type in …
Then click on “View Preference Sites.” If you enjoy the repetitive sound of clicking, then when you log in, mouse over to the sidebar and click on Subscribers …
And click on “Preference Sites” near the bottom. Once we’re there, you should be at a screen like this:
This is where you can see what preference sites you have up and running. The legend there makes more sense once you click on that “Add” button:
Here’s where you get everything all set up. You can choose from the three options shown above. From there just name your site, give it a description so everyone knows what it’s form, and then provide the landing URL that subscribers will be redirected to once they click on the site link. Once you’ve got all that good stuff plugged in, click create page …
And you’ll find yourself at the preference site editor, where you can apply all your branding to the site you just created. And, as usual, if all of this sounds outside your wheelhouse or you just want a little TLC from the experts, our agency can handle all of this for you.
