We’re halfway through October, which means you have all your spooky marketing well in hand by now, and we can move on to your November marketing. We know, we know: Your pumpkin spice latte hasn’t even cooled yet, but at least we aren’t jumping straight to Christmas. But, some brands are starting to roll out their Thanksgiving marketing and, in an attempt to inspire you, we wanted to share some that are already catching our eyes.

Notice anything? Despite being October, they have the Halloween stuff tucked away in the bottom corner. They’re getting you to focus on Thanksgiving by including three images that allude to the holiday: the hero image of the giving plate, the giving plate again, and the pumpkin pie stamp. Their subject line didn’t even mention the holiday, but it was compelling enough for a click: “Your Invitation to Save – 20% Off ANY Order.” Then once you open and poke around, BAM: There it is, that Thanksgiving influencing.
WS grabs you immediately with their subject line: “That Time of Year is Near! Essentials for the Big Feast + Get Your Home Ready for Guests.” Right away you know what you’ll be getting when you click, and the email itself is a menagerie of Thanksgiving product suggestions:
WS apparently has this market so confidently cornered that they’ll even sell you their own brand turkeys for the occasion, and they’re getting in early on taking orders:
In an effort to not ruin this particular restaurant’s promotion — and also because everyone loves a touch of mystery in their reading — we’re going to keep them anonymous. What we will say is that one of the perks of subscribing to them is that you get access to advanced Thanksgiving Day dinner reservations. Also included was a menu of the bountiful feast you’ll get to enjoy with them.
These are just a few ideas that we hope you can use to get the creative juices flowing. No, it’s never too early to start marketing for holidays, Christmas included (there, we said it), so don’t be ashamed to go ahead and start rolling it all out.
